Bride of the Month - March 2010

David and Karen

David and Karen live in Brisbane and chose Bribie Island for many reasons.
Wedding location: Bongaree Jetty Park
Reception Venue: Blue Anchorage Restaurant

Karen said "We have always loved the beach and visited Bribie one weekend for a break from the city. We just fell in love with the place and decided that weekend, on a wedding date. After picking up the brochure from the information centre at Bribie we had a look at the reception venues and beaches mentioned in the brochure."
David then added " It was the dolphins swimming past us in the Passage that 'sealed the deal', It was great. About six dolphins were so close to the beach just cruising past - I guess they were looking for food. Karen got so excited as she had only seen dolphins at Sea World, never in the wild."
Karen added " It will be so special if this happens when we get married - us, saying our vows while dolphins swim past."
"Bribie Island was the perfect location for us, close to Brisbane and the airport, easy for our friends and family to come - either for the day or weekend, fantastic location with dolphins, sunsets and a waterfront location - perfect."
